ZF S5-17 Gearbox rebuild of 101-1470

Front layshaft bearing.

The bearing racer wich caused the noisy gearbox. Due to the fact it had to much
radial play it a point load was introduced to it. In normal condition pre-stress
will divide the load over all the cilinders of the bearing.

New 1st and 2nd synchro's and new bearing fitted.

3rd gear synchro ring.

Still a bit of a exploded view.

The first of the 3 reverse gears fitted.

2nd reverse gear and 5th gear synchro hub back in place.

Speedometer cable drivegear installed.

Everything back in place.
